40 Day Meditation with the Magic Mantra

Join me for a 40-day meditation to connect to your divine, infinite potential šāØļø
I'm starting the journey this Monday, so watch this space... if you begin after Monday, that's cool, just count your 40 days from there š½š¤šŖ· Try to meditate at the same time daily.
When we commit to our sadhana, a daily spiritual practice, we start to tap into our authentic, higher self. A sadhana practice can include anything which connects you to your true you ā be that pranayam (breathing exercises), journalling, walking in nature, oracle cards, meditation, movement, or anything which takes you from your head to your heart.
I invite you to commit to a 40-day, 11-minute meditation and see the magic unfold āØļøš Full details can be found on my website in the latest blog post. Any questions, revelations, highlights, lowlights and anything else, please reach out and DM me š„°
**Why 40 days?**
Doing something for 40 days helps us make it a habit, and start to break down the barriers of any unhelpful habits we want to let go of. It's said we can change our destiny by changing our habits! You'll be working specifically on your subconscious mind, enabling the release of thoughts and emotional patterns which no longer support your authentic path.
**The Magic Mantra**
The chosen meditation for our 40-day journey is the Magic Mantra ā I feel we can all do with extra magic in our lives right now! It's known as such due to its powerful and fast-acting effects. The mantra, 'Ek Ong Kar Sat Gur Prasad,' is considered one of the most powerful of all mantras.
This mantra carries real power, so approach it with sincerity and respect. Practice in beautiful, blessed surroundings ā light a candle, burn incense, place your favourite deity on your altar. Chant with your full presence and reverence throughout.
Please make sure you tune in and out at the start and end of your practice, as this will protect and hold your space. If you're unsure how, let me know and I'll guide you through. Most of all, in-joy, be open to receive the blessings, and commit to yourself! Vahe Guru šāØļøšŖ·
**Tuning In:**
Sit comfortably (a chair is fine if you need it), spine lengthened, shoulders relaxed. Hands in prayer pose, touching your sternum at the centre of your chest. Take a few deep breaths to ground into your body.
Begin with the first mantra, Adi Shakti, which invokes a state of consciousness connecting you to your higher, infinite self. Chant the following 3 times:
*'Ong Namo Guroo Deyv Namo'*
Follow with the second mantra, Mangala Charan, which provides guidance and protection and is recommended before the Magic Mantra. Repeat 3 times:
*"Aad Guray Nameh, Jugaad Guray Nameh, Sat Guray Nameh, Siri Gurdayvay Nameh"*
Now you're ready to begin the meditation.
Instructions
1. Sit in a comfortable meditative posture.
2. Lift your hands to the level of your heart, palms up, elbows relaxed by your sides.
3. Form a shallow cup of your hands by placing the side of your hands together from the base of the palms to the tips of the Mercury fingers (pinkies). All the fingers are together but not rigid. Open the thumbs out away from the hands. The cup is not deep, the edges of the cup are about thirty degrees up from the parallel plane. It is important to keep the "line of Mercury" connected; the outsides of the hands touch from the Mercury fingers to the base of the palms. Normally there will be no opening whatever, but some people will have a gap between their little fingers. Keep this gap to a minimum.
4. Close your eyes and look into your hands through your dosed eyelids. Chant "Ek Ong Kaar, Sat Gur Prasaad" in a monotone, letting the breath find its own pace. One repetition of the mantra takes between four to five seconds.
**Tuning Out:**
When you complete your practice, close with three long, drawn-out "Sat Nam"s to seal in the energy of the meditation before returning to your day.
I like to use the following version of this mantra to chant along to:
https://open.spotify.com/track/46Hnb1LHNzzIHT4Cw2uBKC?si=JyxuTnWCRFmOHdxYISOw3A&utm_source=copy-link
There are other versions on Spotify and Apple Music, so if you prefer a different variation, go with that.
I'll look forward to the transformation and transition to another level over the next few weeks! Blessings šāØļøšŖ·
